The name says it all, this board is designed for river surfing.

The roots of this board are in a fish shape but river surfing is completely different, in the ocean the waves push you, on the river the water flows underneath you. To find the ideal solution we worked closely with Munich’s own Fus Crew, the world famous river surf crew.

Almost all river waves have a very short small wave face which you don’t find in the ocean. The challenge for us was to fit a board in such a small area. The Eisbach is a shortboard and all unnecessary volume has been cut off. To still have a good planing surface the rocker line is very flat and bottom has only a slight single to double concave. A curved outline and thin rails allow the board to turn very sharp in small radius.

River surfing is rapidly evolving and so is the shape of the Eisbach. It represents the state of art in river surfing boards.
