The Lowdown
The river ripper’s choice.
The starting point for the Rush was a board we made for a surf contest at the Munich Airport, held on an artificial river wave. These waves are much weaker and have a flatter face than the Eisbach.
Generally you have more weight on your back foot than on a regular wave. The weaker the wave the more extreme this becomes. Therefore the Rush has a very wide outline with a fairly big squash tail to really conquer the slow flowing power of these artificial waves. Next to that the Rush also carries a lot of volume which makes floating much easier. Still we wanted to keep the edge relatively thin. Therefore the Rush features bevelled rails. This construction allows us to have more volume in the board but keep the actual edge as thin as you need it for sharp turns.
To our own surprise the Rush evolved into an all around river surf weapon and we’ve shaped a bunch for the Eisbach.
NOTE: Standard every Board is made with FCSII Fin System without fins. In case you prefer a different system please head over to the Custom Orderform.
